South Indian Idli / Idly Recipie

Easy Steps to prepare South Indian Idly / Idli :


Ingredients:
1 cup Urdhdal
3 cup Idli rava
1/2 cup Boiled rice
Salt to taste

Method :
Soak urdhdal for 5-6 hours. Make a fine paste of urdhdal and boiled rice. Mix this paste with idli rava so that the batter will be ready (make sure the batter should be thick). Leave the batter for 10 hours or whole night (for good ferment). Add salt and mix properly.



                









Apply oil and put batter on idli stand.


                  









Steam it for 10 mins. Serve hot with Coconut Chutney and Sambar.
