This aloo bun is one of the favorite evening snacks for everyone especially in rainy season to eat hot hot aloo bun.


Aloo bun is basically a bun with seasoned potato filling  inside. Bun with spicy stuffed vegetable inside that gives a delicious tasty. 
Hear I am showing how to prepare aloo bun  without oven. 

Preparation time : 1:30 hr
Cooking time : 30 min
Serves : 6 to 8 buns 


Ingredients:

 Ingredients for aloo bun filling
 Ingredients for dough
Potato — 1/2 kg(1lb)
Oil — 2 Tbs
Mustard seeds — 1/2 Tsp
Cumin seeds/ jeera — 1/2 Tsp
Onion — 1 Cup
Green chilli — 2 to 3
Turmeric powder— 1/2 Tsp
Sugar — 1/2 Tsp
Salt for taste
Chat masala — 1/2 Tsp
Fresh coriander leaves — 1/2 cup
Milk — 1/4 Cup
Sugar — 1/2 Tsp 
Yeast — 3/4 Tsp
All purpose flour/ Maida — 1 & 1/2 Cup
Salt — 1/2 Tsp
Milk — As much as required to make soft and sticky dough( I used approximately 1/2 Cup)
Butter— 2 Tbs
 


Sesame seeds for sprinkling on top of buns before baking.

Summer is here and it’s time to beat it with delicious tasty vanilla ice-cream by preparing in home with only 3 ingredients.


It might look difficult to prepare ice-cream at home but it’s a way easier with only 3 ingredients.
This ice-cream is perfect for summers.
Preparing this easy recipe will surely win you praises.

Total Preparation time: 20 min


How to prepare ice-cream with step by step photos:

Ingredients:
Whipping cream— 2 Cups
Condensed Milk — 1 Cup
Vanilla Essence — 1 Tbs

Procedure :
In a large mixing bowl take 2 cups of cold whipping cream and start to beat in medium speed for about 15 minutes the consistency should not be too thick



Now add 1 cup condensed milk and mix with your hand (don’t use blender) the mixture should turn watery consistency.



Now start to beat with beater for another 15 minutes in same speed




The consistency should be thick


Add vanilla essence and mix



Transfer to storage box and deep freeze for 10 to 12 hrs




After 12 hrs of deep freeze, the ice cream is ready.

Celery Sambar / Sambar for Idili / Sambar Recipe / Step by Step photos to prepare Sambar

Celery  is a cultivated plant, commonly used as a vegetable. Depending on location and cultivar, either its stalks or its hypocotyl are eaten and used in cooking.

It is more commonly used in North America and since we stay here we use it regularly!.

Usually celery stalks are eaten raw, or as an ingredient in salads, or as a flavoring in soups, stews, and pot roasts. But, i am using in my sambar for idili :) Oh ya not to forget it tastes so yum and my kid and my husband just loved it!.



Steps to prepare Celery Sambar:


Ingredients :
1/4 tbsp Mustard seeds
1.4 tbsp Cumin seeds
1/4 cup chopped Garlic
1 cup chopped Onion
2 cup chopped Tomato
1 cup chopped Celery
1 1/2 cup Tur Dal  / Spilt Red Gram
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Sambar powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Red chilli powder
1/2 cup chopped Cilantro / Coriander leaves


Method:

Wash and pressure cook turdal with chopped tomato in one bowl and chopped celery in one bowl.

In a deep pan splatter mustard seed and cumin seeds in oil and fry garlic and onion till it turns to pink in color. Now add sambar powder, salt and red chilli powder and mix well and cook until oil separates from onion now add cilantro and mix it.

Now add cooked turdal and tomato boil for 5 min and add cooked celery and boil for another few mins.

Celery sambar is ready to eat!

Serve hot with idili or plain rice.
