Green Gram Dosa Recipe / Pesarattu Recipe / Healthy Dosa Recipe

Hesaru Bele Dose/Pesarattu/Green Gram Dosa is a very healthy & popular south Indian bread/Dose which is taken as a morning break fast. Very easy to prepare.





Ingredients:
1 cup whole green gram(Moong Dal)
A small bunch of coriander leaves (cilantro)
2 green chillies
2 tbsp of oil, for drizzling on dosa while cooking



Method:

Soak the moong dal and rice together for at least 4 hours or overnight if possible. Grind together and leave for 10 min.



The batter will be coarse and you can adjust the thickness to your preference, not making it too watery. More thicker than regular dosa batter.

Heat the griddle and spread one ladle-full of batter in it.

Spread it thinner for a crisper version, sprinkle with some oil.



Flip over when the first side is cooked. add butter if needed.

When both sides are cooked, remove from tawa and serve hot with coconut chutney.
