Vegetable Pulao Recipe



 


Ingredients :

Vegetables:
Carrot chopped 1cup
Beans chopped 1cup
Green peas 1/2 cup
Potato chopped 1/2 cup
Onion 1/2 cup
Tomato 1 cup
Green chilli 3



For masala paste:
Grated coconut 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
Curry leaves 5-6 leaves
Cinnamon 2
Black Pepper 4-5
Cloves 3-4



Other ingredients:
Rice 3 cup
Milk 2 cup
Water 4 cup
Salt to tastePulao masala 1/2 tbsp
lemon juice
Ghee



Method:

Fry Black pepper, cloves and cinnamon in ghee. Fry bread pieces in ghee/oil



Make a fine paste of onion, tomato, green chilli, coriander leaves, curry leaves, grated coconut, fried spices,  pulao masala powder.



In a pressure cooker, Splutter mustard seeds and add jeera(Cumin seeds) and onion, When it changes its color to golden brown add all chopped vegetables. After 5 min add masala paste and mix well with the vegetables.



Now add rice and mix well. Add 4 cup of water and 2 cup of milk. when it starts boiling add salt, coriander leaves, lemon juice. Close the lid.



After 3 visuals leave it for 5 min. Now add the fried bread pieces.



Serve hot with Raitha.
